Terrance kindly drove us to the airport and we handed the luggage in and passed passport control easily. Great flight with Emirates. It has been a while as we have been flying mostly with Qatar to Doha as the hub so it was great to see Dubai Airport again. It looks small when compared to Doha.
There was wifi on the flight allowing only for WhatsApp so it was great to hear that the fires seem under control. A huge relief, nothing worse than leaving with the knowledge of the fires unable to do anything about it.
