Day 15 Malaga, Spain, La Manquita, trip to the Canary Islands, 27th January 2026

Santa Iglesia Catedral Basílica de la Encarnación de Málaga.
Known as "La Manquita" (The One-Armed Lady) because its second tower was never finished built in the Renaissance period, it is imposing and seems like the largest Basilica we have visited.
We walked around the church in the rain. It is raining constantly either just a drizzle in which case we continue exploring or its torrential in which we find the nearest overhang and wait until it becomes drizzle again.
It is beautiful inside, with high ceilings and the different capelas dedicated to the Virgin  Mary and other saints including St Francis.
