Day 5 Lisboa, 7km Tram journey, trip to the Canary Islands, 17th January 2026

We walked to the tram start point, very glad we did as it filled up really quickly as we went past othe stops. Cost of trains and trams in Portugal are very cheap (Euro 12 return) in comparison to the same transport in England (Pound 41 return) each.

The cost of the tram was cheaper for the distance of 7km than coffee.

Euro 6 for 2 tickets Euro 8 for two coffees.

Saw this magic bike, it looked so tough that I could use it on the OBR!

Tuc tuc tours are everywhere, so cutely decorated.

We found disigual the shop on one of the streets and one bag, a dress and two hoodies later, we walked out the shop, very happy but a lot lighter cash wise.
