We woke up early and went for breakfast. Both Michael and I are sleeping really well. Even though we went to bed after midnight we both woke up refreshed. Read our books for a while after breakfast and then went to do gym. We then went up to the deck - really cold in the wind though you feel like you can suntan in the sun away from the wind. On the deck the exposition team gave a lecture on the current that passes the Lofoten islands. Really strong but brings up all sorts of nutritional items that attracts thousands of birds.
Once again, we saw the fish farms. They are everywhere along the trip. They havee round static nets in the middle of the ocean and boats seem to move between these nets.
We arrived in Tromso and listened to an audio description about the explorers that left out of Tromso to explore the North Pole and the Arctic.
In Tromso we walked to the two cathedrals. The Arctic and the Tromso cathedral across the bridge.
Tromso is made up of an island and the mainland. And the bridge joints the two.
Gluwein was very tasty, purchased from the smallest pub in Tromso. Very tart, sweetened with almonds and raisins.
Trolls are also a thing in Norway, there are many different types.
Lots of fun and then back to the boat. Looking forward to a seafood buffet tonight.
