Oslo international airport - 21 September 2022

Arrived from Doha at 14:30, EU self checkout is very fast so walked through the airport and was very happy to see our luggage waiting at the carrossel. Michael with his English passport had to come through passport control with all the other countries - result of Brexit. Previously he self checked out the same way I did. We got a fast train to Oslo central station, 5 minutes walk to our Comfort hotel situated in the station.

Dropped bags off at the hotel, very unusual room, Scandinavian style

and went exploring. The fort , the castle and the castle church. 

Stopped at a pub on the water that has a collection of food trucks. Such good food. BBQ shrimp and BBQ entrecote

Perfect evening ended with the local draft beer called Mack.

Walked back to the hotel and found Michaels favourite jeans shop Dressmams after 10 years of wearing the same 2 pairs, he has replaced them with the same but new washed out grey and blue. Perfect end to a great day!!
