On the Deck for 7:30 to watch the crossing of the Arctic circle. Champagne 🍾 🍷

and great company with Nikki and Robin also from ZA doing a 10 week holiday from UK via the Scandanavian countries back to the UK.

Breakfast was great as always and then answering all of the different posts while watching the stunning countryside pass by

Places we passing today:

Visited Boda, working harbour and typical town starting with lower cost housing near the harbour moving to more expensive ones further up the hill. We only had an hour and a bit so was nice to stretch our legs, had a cup of coffee, Michael had a chocolate in the station café and then back on board.

We had. 5 course dinner in a special restaurant, only the two of us.

We went off the boat in Svolvaer and tried to get into the ice museum. Unfortunately it closed at 22:00. At 23:00 we had a special troll juice similar to gluwein but with aquavit in it. Then we got ready for the troll fjord. Pitch black outside with a few lights which my phone's camera cannot capture.

At 23:30 a taste of special fish cakes and at 20:40 we saw the entrance to the Troll fjord.

To top it all and the perfect end to a day like no other, the Northern Lights made their appearance.
