Qatar Airways and a hotel stay in Doha 04th March 2024

Arrived at Doha airport with the knowledge that we had a 20 hrs layover. The ground staff had told us to go to transfers to see if a hotel room had been allocated to us. 

After a long trek through the airport, customs clearance and baggage check, we found out that we had been allocated a room at the Grand Regal, an older hotel in Doha central. It was fantastic.

We got to see Doha's interesting sights. Having never been there, the massive highways and skyscrapers that are back to back with small Saloons (hair stylists) and international restaurants that are smaller than a walk in cupboard, give a special ambience to the places.
