520 thousand people live in the Maltese Islands with an area of 316km, the most densely populated area in the EU.
The Historical sites that we want to see are in the following areas:
1) Valletta
2) The 3 cities which are Vittoriosa – also known as Il-Birgu, Senglea – also known as L-Isle and Cospicua – also known as Bormla.
3) Kalkara
4) Mdina in Rabat
5) The fishing village of Marsaxlokk
Once we have explored these areas, we are going to go and see the island of Gozo
Armed with Historical Malta pass, two tickets to Underground Malta and a 3 night booking in Marea boutique hotel in Sliema we set off for Malta
