9th June 2022 Newcastle to Tynemouth Metro and some walking

Great flight and arrival in Newcastle Airport. Uneventfully caught metro to Newcastle Central station from airport and changed over and caught metro to Tynemouth. Out the station and wondered the neighborhood for 1hour (at least we got in some steps) I will not be following any maps without first downloading them myself.  Unintentionally saw a lot of Tynemouth residential. Fun fact they also have a King Edward School. Finally, asking for directions we found our way to our accommodation and checked into a gorgeous 7 stories old manor called no 61. We have the top floor - glad it's not tomorrow - walking all those steps with sore legs. We went for a long walk around the main road with lots of pubs and restaurants - castle and beach. Beautiful town. Then stopped for a great Indian dinner at Ganesh and went to bed exhausted but happy.
