Sortland - 1st Birthday Stop, half hour - 01 October 2022
Sortland is a town and the administrative centre of Sortland Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The town is located on the east coast of the island of Langøya, along the Sortlandsundet strait. Located on the islands of Langøya and Hinnøya in the Vesterålen archipelago which is further North than the Lofoten island archipelago the municipality surrounds the inner part of the Eidsfjorden and the Sortlandssundet strait. There are several bridges in the municipality. The Sortland Bridge is located just north of the town of Sortland and Hurtigruten cruise boat seems to just fit under the bridge with much funfair as the boat goes under the bridge.
